The ANZAC Theatre is situated at 39 Hokianga Road in Dargaville, Northland, New Zealand. We are a single screen, 62 seat theatre with a comfortable intimate feel. Our 5:1 Dolby Surround sound system was recently augmented by a ‘state of the art’ laser projector that provides razor sharp clarity and detail.

The theatre opened in July 2013 thanks to enormous community support. Major funders included Transpower, Lotteries Grants Board, ASB Community Trust and the Kaipara District Council, as well as numerous donations from local people. The cinema operates with your support. It is a place for the promotion of the visual arts and creative development for all people in the Kaipara. It is owned by the community and operates with your support.
